Malaby Firm Obtains Defense Verdict

We are pleased to announce, after a seven (7) week trial in New York City, our office was able to secure a full defense verdict on behalf of a residential boiler company, an extraordinarily rare, and significant outcome. The Plaintiff, deceased, 72 year-old man, claimed exposure to asbestos from working with boilers manufactured by a dozen companies. At verdict, there were only two (2) remaining defendants. Despite the Plaintiff securing a $6,250,000 verdict, with a finding of fault against each and every boiler company, as well as an insulation supplier, our client was able to convince the jury that we simply played no role in the Plaintiff's disease.
